Bolivia Mission Trip 2011

On March 15, 2011, students from Weimar Academy will be embarking on a journey together that could change many lives, including ours. Using Christ’s methods of teaching, preaching, and healing, students will be sharing their faith and love for Christ with the people of Yata and surrounding region in Northern Bolivia.

Bolivia Mission Trip

During our trip to Bolivia, students will be engaged in several different ministries. These include:

  1. Establishing and building a church in the village of Yata.
  2. Conducting an evangelistic series.
  3. Sharing the health message through informative health talks.
  4. Children’s meetings to minister to the needs of local children.

We ask that you please keep Weimar Academy in your prayers as we move forward. Along with your prayers, your financial help would be greatly appreciated. Current estimates leave the total cost for the trip to be $140,000.

Student fundraising efforts are acknowledged by Weimar Academy as progress toward achievement of their personal fundraising goals for the General Mission Trip Fund. According to IRS guidelines, donations to individuals are not tax deductible, so if you desire a deduction please do not write the solicitors name on the check. All gifted funds are entered into the General Mission account and are non-refundable. They will all be used for the Weimar Academy mission trip.
