In light of recent government directives and public health concerns, the Weimar Board of Directors and leadership team recently announced educational options for Weimar College and Weimar Academy students for the remainder of the school year.

These options have been updated as follows:
Students who live on campus have the option of staying on campus or going home. Village students have the option to move onto campus and into on site housing or staying home. In any of these options, our students’ education will continue by choosing to either be on campus or online.

For those who remain – like our international students who are unable to return home due to the situations there, we will have on campus options using the governmental and WHO guidelines. In addition, they will also be involved in creating resources that can benefit communities near and far.

Those returning home will have online instruction for the rest of the semester. Prior to COVID-19, our Online Education department has been preparing content for a number of on campus classes as part of its work this past year. Now, that team will focus on helping students finish the semester. Our dedicated faculty and staff are especially working with our soon-to-be graduates so they can stay on track for their graduation.

Like other schools across this nation, our calendar is moving forward. All future events such as graduations are subject to adjustment as the COVID-19 situation continues. Updates will be communicated on our Facebook page.

The Weimar Institute COVID committee daily reviews data from local, state and national recommendations, and seeks to accommodate these requirements. In these times, we remain committed to offering hope and healing to a hurting world.

We have also released a separate TCI update.

Below is an encouraging video with health tips for COVID-19.
