Alarms sound. Beds creak as their sleepy inhabitants drag themselves up and into the shower for their daily awakening sessions. It is the last day of scheduled service in San Antonio, and our bodies are recovering from the strain of last week. Fortunately, the morning holds a few restful hours for both students and staff. Some take a plunge in the pool, getting an abundance of exercise, sunshine, and humidity; others catch up on sleep, or other sundry tasks. Whether conscious or not, all are preparing for the afternoon of outreach and our final overcoming seminar.
Last night we held our first overcoming seminar at the Bynum SDA Spanish Church. This seminar is geared towards helping the church-members overcome through Christ’s strength, so that they in turn can help others. Though only a handful of members arrived, I believe everyone received a bountiful blessing.
As the final meeting nears, we are praying for an astounding attendance and a powerful presentation. We trust that God will hear our prayers and answer as He sees fit. We are claiming His promise today that, “Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” – John 14:13
