Where is Weimar Located?
Weimar is located in Northern California, approximately 45 miles north of Sacramento, just off of I-80. We are less than two hours from Lake Tahoe to the north and San Francisco to West. Our physical address is 20601 West Paoli Lane, Weimar, California 95736.
How do I apply to attend Weimar Academy?
You will need to f ll out an application and submit it to us. Applications can be f lled out online on our website at www.weimaracademy.org or can be requested to be sent to you by email, fax or mail by calling 530-422-7961.
What type of food is served at Weimar?
Our cafeteria serves a variety of fruits, vegetables, breads and other plant based foods.
Can I bring my iPod?
No. Personal listening devices are not permitted at the academy.
Do you have a work education program?
Yes. Students have the opportunity to work 2.5 hours a day, Monday-Thursday and there are many different options available on campus.
Do I have to work?
Every student is enrolled in work education and the credits are required to graduate.
What is the policy regarding computers?
Students are required to bring their own laptops and must adhere to the school’s technology policy while using their computer at school.
Can I have a cell phone?
Yes. Cell phone use on campus will be limited to the dorms only during specified hours regulated by the deans. Cell phones that have the capability of accessing the internet are not allowed, however they can be stored with the deans and returned when a student returns home or during off-campus activities with approval. Any cell phone used in violation of these rules will be confiscated by the deans.
Do you have a dress code?
Yes. Uniforms are required during classes and work ed. When outside of work and class time, students are asked to abide by the guidelines for dress as stated in the handbook.
What is your relationship or dating policy?
Dating is not allowed at Weimar Academy.
How much does it cost to attend Weimar Academy?
The cost for a full-time dorm student on a 3-meal plan is $18,875 for the 2022-23 school year.
Do you have an organized sports program at Weimar?
No. The students however, have plenty of recreational opportunities like hiking, skiing, cycling, swimming, jogging, just to name a few.
How many students attend the academy?
We expect to be at approximately 70 students.
Do the students ever have opportunities to come back home during the year?
Yes. Homeleaves are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. You can view the dates of each homeleave by checking out our calendar located on our website.
Is Weimar Academy accredited?
We are not accredited at this time, however we are seeking an accrediting agency that would be willing to work with us, as we maintain a high academic standard that educates our students only in the fields of study, that are in harmony to the counsel given in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.
