This February a group of students, parents, and staff will partner with Maranatha Volunteers International on a project at Holbrook Indian School in Arizona. Holbrook is a Seventh-day Adventist boarding school grades 1-12 specifically designed to nurture Native American youth as they navigate the difficult balance between their heritage and the modern American way of life. The school is primarily supported through donations and volunteer projects, and we have volunteered to provide some of that support. Through the auspices of Maranatha, we will be doing construction and repairs at the school. The students will have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they work on the projects at the school. They will also be able to share the joy and love of God through music, worship, and activities with the local students. We crave your prayers as we plan and participate in this trip! There are needs all around us and we are so privileged to be called to help right here in the United States.
