More than a hundred years ago, U.S. government officials identified a tranquil spot in Northern California’s Sierra Nevada foothills as one of five ideal locations for tuberculosis treatment and recovery. At the time, tuberculosis was a death sentence but from its beginning, Weimar Institute offered hope and healing for adults and even children.
